What are the stories and experiences behind the successful women in Denmark?
This is explored in “Vejen til succes,” which is a Danish podcast by Female Leadership Academy. The hosts’ Maria Anker Andersen and Nina Damkjær Thorsen are interviewing successful women in business about their road to success, and talk about their experiences and advice that follow a choice of career and/or leadership.
The purpose of “Vejen til succes” is to empower women to take control of their careers through the stories and experiences of inspiring role models. Thus, we seek to inspire our listeners to go after the dreams and career paths they desire.
The first podcast season depicts how different women have had a successful career in the tech industry, despite vastly different backgrounds and prerequisites for this. We talk with a variety of amazing people, i.e. software developers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Meet the hosts
Maria Anker Andersen
Maria have studied MSc in Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School. She has a great interest in leadership, entrepreneurship and digitalisation, which has led to starting in a consultancy after graduating. Maria is one of the co-founders of Female Leadership Academy.
Nina Damkjær Thorsen
Nina studies MSc in Strategy, Organization and Leadership at Copenhagen Business School. On the side, she works as a trainee at Deloitte, and is responsible for the operations, events and products in Female Leadership Academy.
Female Leadership Academy
The organization behind Female Leadership Academy consists of 40+ former and current students from Copenhagen Business School, Technical University of Denmark – DTU, and the University of Copenhagen. They all work voluntarily in different sections such as finance, product development, external operations and events, partnerships, marketing, internal operations, and ambassadors.
