We are looking for a student to join the FLA team as our newest volunteer Ambassador!

Student Ambassador

Who are we?

At Female Leadership Academy, we’re on a mission to increase diversity in leadership. We launched our first Academy back in 2020, and since then we’ve helped over 200 students and professionals develop their leadership skills and get a head-start in their careers.

The role

As an FLA Ambassador, you will promote our upcoming Fall Students Academy. Specifically, you will help with the planning and delivering of our Information Night and on-campus recruitment activities (e.g. coffee handouts).

Who you are

You want to help amplify Female Leadership Academy’s mission at DTU to increase diversity in leadership. You are organized and detail-oriented, love making connections, and building networks. You know the ins and outs of what’s happening at your university, how to reach your fellow students and how to identify the right promotional platforms for FLA.

Working hours

The hours spent on the role vary throughout the semester, with the bulk of activities taking place at the beginning of the Spring and Autumn semesters. This will be 5-7 hours a week during September to October and January to February, and less throughout the rest of the semester. Other activities may arise and influence the weekly hours.

Are you our new Strategic Project Associate?

We are looking for a student or professional who like to build networks and make valuable connections.

Who are we?

The role

To help us continue on our mission, we’re on the lookout for a passionate Strategic Projects Associate.

Who you are

You like to build networks and make valuable connections. You are also passionate about increasing the diversity in leadership and looking for ways where you can make a difference.

Working hours

You would be able to spend 5-10 hours per week in this role, as events are a large part of this position. You might be a student or a young professional, with flexibility, a hands-on attitude, and a drive to organize and run events.

Are you our new Marketing Project Manager?

We are looking for a student interested in digital marketing to be the marketing lead of our student academy

Who are we?

At Female Leadership Academy, we’re on a mission to increase diversity in leadership. We launched our first Academy back in 2020, and since then we’ve helped over 400 students and professionals develop their leadership skills and get a head-start in their careers.

The role

You will contribute to the planning and development of content for our digital channels and showcasing our ongoing activities and events. You will specifically be lead on promoting our student academy and have close communication with the operations team planning the academy.

Who you are

You want to be part of a team of highly engaged volunteers and help the organisation grow. You are curious, eager to learn, and independently driven. We value relevant experiences and studies, but most importantly we expect you to be driven to learn and support Female Leadership Academy on our mission to increase diversity in leadership.

We specifically seek someone who loves creating social content, is interested in strategic communications, and is passionate about taking FLA’s social media channels to the next level.

The Team

The marketing team consists of a Head of Marketing and PR two marketing project managers, one connected to Networks team and one connected to the Professional Academy team. Furthermore the team consist of a PR Lead, Creative Specialist, and Podcast Speicalist. You will also take part in creating content and developing communication strategies regarding the organisation as a whole.

Working hours

We expect approx. 5 – 10 hours per week. This will vary depending on the workload in the organisation, your exam periods and other responsibilities.

Are you our new Ghost Writer and Communications Associate?

We are looking for a competent writer, playing a key role in editing and finalising chapters in our book.

The opportunity

At Female Leadership Academy, we’re on a mission to increase diversity in leadership. We launched our first Academy back in 2020, and since then we’ve helped over +5000 students and professionals develop their leadership skills and get a head-start in their careers.

As Ghost Writer & Communications Associate, you will be responsible for:

Playing a key role in writing, proofreading and finalizing the chapters of a leadership learning and development book aimed at the next generation of leaders.
Collaborating closely with the founder of FLA and senior advisors to gather feedback and enhance the book’s content.
Contributing to the go-to-market strategy and partnership development to ensure the book’s successful launch early next year.

Who are you?

You want to be a part of a mission-led organisation comprised of passionate volunteers. We value someone with deep passion for writing and storytelling in Danish and English. Most importantly, you are able to take ownership of your tasks, are a natural project manager, and eager to help FLA grow.

Time

We expect approx. 5-10 hours per week spent working closely with other FLA team members, as well as occasional meetings with the broader FLA team. This will vary depending on the workload.

Are you our new Business analyst?

Are you a student or professional interested in data modelling, providing valuable insights for decisionmaking.

Who we are

Who you are

We specifically seek someone who likes working in excel, making sense and presenting insights from data. You should be interested in modelling and extracting data of our communities, and is passionate about taking FLA´s community to the next level.

Tasks

You will contribute to collect insights of the FLA community to both partner presentations, networking team, and help marketing optimise their communication. You will work independently and collectively, and have a lot of autonomy to influence FLA community to excel to the next level.

The organization behind Female Leadership Academy consists of 40+ former and current students from Copenhagen Business School, Technical University of Denmark – DTU, and the University of Copenhagen. They all work voluntarily in different sections such as finance, product development, external operations and events, partnerships, marketing, internal operations, and ambassadors.
